At just 15 years old, Steve Kelley quickly learned that he had found his calling - ROOFING! After 30 years of helping a number roofing companies develop and succeed, with his son Xavier by his side, Steve decided it was time to start his own roofing company. Together they established On Top It All, LLP in early 2016. As a father-son owned and operated business, the importance of a family atmosphere is essential; which is why we always treat our clients as part of our family.
Although Steve Kelley was not born in Florida, he has lived here most of his life. At the age of 15 years old, he started working on a roofing crew and the rest is history!
Developing a true passion and a notable skill for the trade, Steve excelled in his career, rising through the ranks of the companies he worked with. After over 30 years in the field, he decided it was time to take his knowledge and experience and start his own roofing company; thus, side by side with his son Xavier, On Top It All, LLP was born!
According to Steve, being able to work his family every day is “a blessing.” Having the support of his family was essential in 2011 when Steve was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (a cancer that forms in a plasma cell and causes cancer cells to accumulate in the bone marrow, where they crowd out healthy blood cells). As a cancer survivor (now in remission), and a small business owner, Steve relies on his family’s encouragement to keep him pushing forward.
“Happiness keeps you sweet. Trials keep you strong. Sorrows keep you human. Failure keeps you humble. Success keeps you glowing. And family keeps you going.”
Like father, like son!
Xavier Kelley started helping his dad with roofing projects when he was just a teenager. Realizing that he had the same knack for the trade as his father, he decided to pursue roofing as his profession.
After establishing On Top It All LLP with Steve, Xavier decided it was time to settle down. He married his wife Heaven, and together they are raising 3 beautiful children: Lucas, Mason, and Kelsey. As a family, they enjoy doing activities such as: boating, hunting, camping, and going to the Orlando Science Center.
“Our family is a circle of strength founded on faith, joined in love, and kept by God.”
The roofing industry may sound like an interesting, and almost odd, career choice for a female; but for Katie Miller, it was a path that chose her. She started out by working at a roofing supply house. It was there that she met Steve and Xavier Kelley. After 3 years of developing a professional relationship with them, Katie made the decision to join the On Top It All, LLP family.
Steve and Xavier welcomed both her and her husband, Danny, with open arms. Katie and Danny enjoy doing freelance photography for different charity events, such as the annual Orlando Team Hope Walk hosted by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. Due to Danny’s recent diagnosis, and family history, of Huntington’s Disease, they feel like it is their way to give back and raise awareness.
“Family isn’t an important thing. Family is everything.”
